NOTICE OF PUBLIC DISCUSSION MEETING - CANYON HILLS PROJECT

RE: 7000-8000 La Tuna Canyon Road, Tujunga - located within the boundaries of the Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council, Region 4.
As part of the subdivision approval, the City imposed a requirement to hold a public discussion meeting before any grading permit could be issued for the project. 
The presentation is on January 27, 2003 at 11:00 a.m.
This is not a public hearing because the project is fully entitled -- approved in 2005 for 221 single family homes all located north of the 210 freeway, northside of La Tuna Canyon --- construction has not begun.

Beyond The Pail: An Organics Recycling Town Hall

Monday, January 30th, from 6 pm-7:30 pm via Zoom for a virtual town hall to learn more about the organics recycling process!


Single-family, duplex, and fourplex residences served by LA Sanitation will soon be required to recycle food scraps and food-soiled paper in their green bin for the city to compost. 

Learn more about the organics recycling process with virtual town hall! Hear from local climate organizations and experts from LA Sanitation and the California Climate Action Corps about helpful recycling tips, with the opportunity to answer your questions.

(SoCalGas) today announced a $1 million contribution to the Gas Assistance Fund, a program that helps income-qualified customers pay their natural gas bills beginning Jan. 17. Customers will be facing bills that could be double or higher compared to last year’s winter bills.

On Tuesday, Mayor Bass provided testimony at the Board of Supervisors meeting in favor of Chair Hahn's motion to support the City's emergency declaration and better align County resources with the City's response. The Board of Supervisors voted to install a representative of the County CEO as a Deputy Director in the City's official command structure at the Emergency Operations Center. This deep partnership will dramatically accelerate and enhance our work to save lives at a true inflection point in Los Angeles.
