The LUC recently recommended support for the new Link N Hops at Foothill & Woodward, Drive Thru Car Wash at the Mobil Station in Sunland and Shop Easy Market & Liquor to be located next door to the new Big 5 Sporting Goods store on Foothill just west of Lowell. Property owners appeared before the LUC and surrounding neighbors for each of the proposals.

3-16-15 -- The committee welcomes Cathi Comras who has been appointed by the STNC board to serve on the Land Use Committee as an alternate.

Property owners appeared before the LUC and updated the community on their recent remodeling and signage improvements to the overall site. 6231 Foothill Blvd. - Relocation of Convenience Store that sells a full line of alcohol for off-site consumpton (City Market #22) from its current location at 6247 Foothill Blvd. of 4,000 sq. ft. (Unit A) to 1,800 sq. ft. at 6239 Foothill and 1,500 sq. ft. (Unit B). Conditional Use Required for this use. However the use was approved prior to enactment of current Code requirement and due to relocation to smaller footage in same shopping center with same property ownership; the application is for a Plan Approval.
Day Street & Pali - Villa Nova Development -- Land Use Committee and Neighbors met with the Developer, Andrew Novacek to review plans as submitted to the City. CD7 Representative unable to attend this meeting. Copy of Plans available on request and linked from this website under documents.
