A message from STNC President

I am SO excited to serve Sunland-Tujunga as the new President of the Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council STNC!!

The turnout at last night's meeting was incredible. I'd like to thank everyone for coming out, for your support, and for your input! 

What brought me to this area almost 20 years ago was the beautiful wildness of it.... the mountains, the wildlife, the tranquility. What keeps me here is the tenacity of the community. We may not always agree, but we CARE. That passion is powerful and it's contagious.

I hope you'll consider checking out our meetings! This last one brought an update from LA Family Housing, LAFD Fire Station 74, LAPD Foothill Community Police Station, and updates from your local officials including Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, Senator Anthony Portantino, and Kelly Gonez, LAUSD School Board Member.

We meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm at North Valley City Hall. (We create the agenda the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm at North Valley City Hall.)
We have an Animal Issues Committee, a Women Empowering Sunland-Tujunga Committee, an Education Committee, an Arts, Culture and Recreation Committee, a Beautification Committee, a Land Use Committee and SO MUCH MORE!
