Meet at Sunland Foursquare Church, 10602 Sherman Grove, Sunland, CA
Since the beginning of July, less than four months ago, we have lost the lives of five of our neighbors in traffic fatalities here in Sunland-Tujunga. Three motorcyclists, one bicyclist, and a teenage passenger in a rollover car - four of these deaths have occurred on Foothill Blvd, three have occurred in just the past week. Three in one week. This coming Saturday morning, from 8a-noon, our community will come together for a collaborative event to improve our Foothill Boulevard, both from a physical aspect and from a traffic safety aspect. Please join us to care for our main corridor, to celebrate the beauty of our life here, and to remember those that we lost along the way.
