New updates for restaurants and other businesses

Posted on 05/29/20

Today, following LA County guidance, the City of LA is once again allowing dine-in eating at local restaurants. Restaurants can now have customers eat inside, with curbside and outdoor seating prioritized. The bar area will remain closed and capacity will be maxed at 60%. The Mayor launched LA Al Fresco to support outdoor dining opportunities for restaurants. This program will encourage outdoor seating at restaurants to give more space for diners to maintain physical distance. The City will offer temporary, NO-COST, allowances to allow dining on sidewalks and private parking lots. Restaurants can apply HERE.
In addition to restaurants, hair salons and barbershops can reopen, though stylists can only serve one client at a time and everyone MUST wear a face covering. Lastly, office-based businesses may now open, but ONLY if telework is not possible.
For more guidance on specific reopening protocols for various types of businesses, please go to: https://corona-virus.la/Business. Please share out with your networks. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to our office at 818-485-0600. Thank you, and stay safe this weekend.
