PUBLIC INPUT AT NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL MEETINGS The public is requested dial *9, when prompted by the presiding officer, to address the Board/Committee on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item. Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board’s/Committee’s jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period.   Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board/Committee is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board/Committee meeting. Public comment is limited TWO minutes per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the Board/Committee.
 
The Neighborhood Council system enables meaningful civic participation for all Angelenos and serves as a voice for improving government responsiveness to local communities and their needs. We are an advisory body to the City of Los Angeles, comprised of stakeholder volunteers who are devoted to the mission of improving our communities.

6.     Discussion/Action: Approve Web Corner Invoices 19854 & 20153 in the amount of $63.00 total for domain name and yearly renewal of Stnc.org  
7.     Discussion/Action: Emergency Covid-19 funding approved by DONE – Total  $4500.00
a)     Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding in the amount of $500 to Making It Happen, Inc. for the operations of supporting individuals and families in need of food.  (May 18, 2020)
b)    Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding in the amount of $500 to Tujunga United Methodist Church/ Bailey Center Food Pantry for the operations of supporting individuals and families in need of food. (May 18, 2020)
c)     Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding for Hope for Homeless Youth in the amount of $500 for the  operations of supporting individuals and families in need of food.  (April 27, 2020)
d)    Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding in the amount of $500 to Making it Happen, Inc. for the operations of supporting individuals and families in need of food.  (April 27, 2020)
e)     Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding in the amount of $1000.00 to LA Students Most in Need/ California Community Foundation for support for meal services for LAUSD students. (April 20, 2020)
f)      Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding in the amount of $500 to Fabulous Feathers & More for 500 masks in the operations of manufacturing  and supporting personal protective gear. (April 20, 2020)
g)     Approve Emergency Covid-19 funding in the amount of  $1,000 to Making It Happen, Inc. for the operations of supporting individuals and families in need of food.  (April 20, 2020)
8.     Discussion/Action: STNC current balance of funds/expenses and the cities policy on applying $10,000 to roll over into the 2020/2021 fiscal year.
9.     Discussion/Action: Encumber Request form for STNC Fiscal year 2019/2020. Identifying vendors and purpose of encumbered funds for 2020/2021 fiscal year. 
10.  Discussion/Action: Approve 2020-2021 STNC Administrative Budget Packet for board approval.
11.  Discussion/Action:  NPG request from PESA
12.  Discussion/Action:  NPG request from North Valley Caring Center.
13.  Public Comments on non-agenda items.
14.  Discussion/Action:  Setting of next budget and finance meeting June, 2020.
