Technical Amendment to Cannabis Location Restrictions Released; Public Hearing 11/13/19

Dear Interested Parties,
Los Angeles City Planning, in cooperation with the Department of Cannabis Regulation (DCR), has prepared the Technical Amendment to Cannabis Location Restrictions, a draft ordinance modifying the 2017 location restrictions for commercial cannabis activity, including minor changes to the way certain sensitive sites are defined as well as to the rules for grandfathering of Existing Medical Marijuana Dispensaries.
City Planning and DCR invite you to attend a public hearing on the draft ordinance on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Ronald F. Deaton Civic Auditorium, 100 W 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The fact sheet, hearing notice, and draft ordinance text are attached for your review.
Following the hearing, City Planning staff will prepare a recommendation report for the consideration of the City Planning Commission. No decision will be made at the hearing itself.
