The Neighborhood Council system has crossed the 15th year mark, with 97 Neighborhood Councils and 13 alliances currently serving our communities.

This growing system has generated many reform ideas for our City that have been implemented in recent years. For the NC system to reach its next stage of influence, we need to carefully review where we are today and identify new reforms to create a self-determining system that also has enough baseline standards to be effectively organized.
