The race to elect the next Los Angeles City Councilmember for the Seventh District is entering into the final stretch. Two candidates, Monica Rodriguez and Karo Torossian vie for the seat that was left vacant when Councilmember Felipe Fuentes resigned from the position on September 11, 2016. The issues of concern to district residents include smart development, public safety, homelessness, business attraction and retention, among others.

UCLA, the Pacoima Neighborhood Council (PNC), Telemundo 52, VICA, and MEND invite you to attend the City of Los Angeles Council District 7 Candidate Forum on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Learn about the candidates and their positions on the issues that matter.
